Each cyanotype tote bag is handmade in small batches by Vancouver Island artist Erin Laye, using a historic photographic process and natural materials. Every piece is individually created, meaning no two bags are ever the same.
The fern was carefully placed onto the fabric, exposed to light, and hand-developed to reveal rich blue tones and delicate botanical detail. Because each print is made using natural materials and hand processes, subtle variations and organic imperfections are part of the beauty — no two totes are ever the same.
