Cyanotype Tote Bag — One of a Kind

Each cyanotype tote bag is handmade in small batches by Vancouver Island artist Erin Laye, using a historic photographic process and natural materials. Every piece is individually created, meaning no two bags are ever the same.

This tote was created using real brown seaweed sustainably harvested from the shores of Vancouver Island. The seaweed was carefully arranged on the fabric, exposed to UV light, and hand-developed to reveal deep blue tones and organic coastal forms. Because each print is made using natural materials and hand processes, subtle variations and organic imperfections are part of the beauty.

Thoughtfully made in small batches, with care, intention, and a deep connection to place.

Care

• Spot clean or cold gentle wash on its own with phosphate free detergent and air dry
